Deciding on the perfect set of wheels can be challenging, especially when you’re spoiled for choice.  It’s sometimes hard to picture a custom configured vehicle, like a Nano Grey Audi TT with a Moccasin Brown leather interior and added extras like black decorative trims, when there are only white Audis in other models on the dealership floor.

Sure, you can try and Google your desired Audi, but the results won’t give you a 360-degree view of your dream car. That’s why Audi has launched South Africa’s first virtual reality-enabled car buying experience.

Audi’s VR-enabled Customer Private Lounge (CPL) officially opened on 4 July 2019 at the Audi Centre in Centurion, Gauteng, bringing the brand in SA in line with global trends. The solution offers an innovative, digital retail experience to customers allowing them an incredibly realistic view of their customised Audi – down to the last detail.

How does the CPL work, you might wonder?

They also offer customers the chance to experience special Audi-moments. Motorsport fans can, for instance, immerse themselves virtually in the atmosphere of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Reminiscent of Audi victories at this iconic endurance race, the customer gets an up-close experience during a pit stop alongside the crew of mechanics. Amazing!

It looks like this automotive leader knows exactly what their “audi”-ence wants (and needs). Hopefully, other dealerships across South Africa will follow Audi’s tracks to provide customers with the premium service that they deserve.

May Audi stay in the fast lane and continue “Being Ahead Through Technology” as so ever boldly expressed in their ever-popular tagline - Vorsprung durch Technik!
