1. Any reference in these terms and conditions to “dotsure.co.za” refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06) a licensed non-life insurer and an authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

2. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

 

3. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 (eighteen) years and older, may enter the competition.

 

4. Entrants need to be active dotsure.co.za Warranty policyholders to enter the competition. Should you be drawn as a winner, you may be asked to provide proof of an active dotsure.co.za warranty policy, as well as proof of identity.

 

5. Policyholders whose premiums are not paid up to date will not be eligible to enter the competition.

 

6. The competition will run from 09:00 on Wednesday, 10 April 2024 to 23:59 on Tuesday, 30 April 2024.

 

7. To be entered into the competition, you must submit at least one valid referral via this landing page and the referral must have signed up for a dotsure.co.za Warranty policy by 15 May 2024. Each referral’s name, surname, email address and phone number must be valid and belong to the intended recipient.

 

8. For the avoidance of doubt, valid means correct, and complete contact information was provided, the referral agreed to being contacted and the referral does not have a current warranty plan with dotsure.co.za.

 

9. The winner will be announced by 31 May 2024.

 

10. Multiple entries per entrant will be permitted but duplicate referrals will be deemed invalid.

 

11. Entry is free of charge.

 

12. There is no automatic prize for entering.

 

13. The prize shall be a Hussar Grill voucher to the value of R1,000 (one thousand Rand) for the qualifying winner drawn.

 

14. The prize will be sent to the winner via email to the email address specified by the winner.

 

15. The winner will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

 

16. The winner will be notified by a dotsure.co.za representative using the contact details reflected on their policy. The notification will be sent to the e-mail address on record and if no e-mail address is available, the winner will be contacted by utilising the cell phone number on record.

 

17. The prize is non-transferable and there are no other alternatives.

 

18. Fraudulent entries will not be allowed. dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

 

19. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via nicolenevh@dotsure.co.za.

 

20. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as the winner, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their name in the monthly dotsure.co.za warranty newsletter/email. Should the winner however not want their first name published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish their name.

 

21. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

 

22. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact the winner and/or should the winner fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details on record, within 7 (seven) days from the date that the winner was notified, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.

 

23. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

 

24. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify these terms and conditions or to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

 

25. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

26. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

27. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules, which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.

 

28. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
