1. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 (eighteen) years and over, and currently an employee of a small animal vet practice registered in South Africa may enter the competition.

 

2. Any reference in these terms and conditions to ‘dotsure.co.za’ refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06), a licensed non-life and authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

3. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

 

4. The competition will run from 08:00 on Monday, 2 June 2025 to 23:59 on Monday, 30 June 2025 (“competition period”).

 

5. To be eligible for the R800 (eight hundred Rand) referral fee, you must:

 

a. obtain consent from the client to share their details with dotsure.co.za; and

 

b. submit a valid sale via WhatsApp to your dedicated dotsure.co.za representative or via email to vet@dotsure.co.za or via the online form.

 

6. For the avoidance of doubt, a valid sale shall be a referral where:

 

a. the referrer has received consent from the referred to share their details with dotsure.co.za; and

 

b. the referred must have taken up any dotsure.co.za pet insurance policy during the competition period.

 

7. For every valid referral submitted, the referrer will be entered into a lucky draw to win a cash prize of R15 000 (fifteen thousand Rand). For the avoidance of doubt, a valid referral means a referral in respect of which correct and complete contact information (email and cell phone number) was submitted and the client does not have a dotsure.co.za pet insurance policy yet.

 

8. A valid referral submitted on WhatsApp, via email or via the online form will be equivalent to one entry in the lucky draw.

 

9. Multiple entries per vet practice will be permitted, however duplicate referrals will be deemed invalid.

 

10. Entry is free of charge.

 

11. There is no automatic prize for entering.

 

12. There will be 1 (one) winner in total.

 

13. The winner will be announced by 31 July 2025.

 

14. The winner will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

 

15. The cash prize will be paid to the qualifying winner via EFT into the bank account provided by them, proof of such account and ID will be required.

 

16. The winner will be notified by way of an e-mail as well as a WhatsApp message from a dotsure.co.za representative.

 

17. The prize is non-transferable and there are no other alternatives.

 

18. Fraudulent entries will not be allowed. dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

 

19. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via vet@dotsure.co.za.

 

20. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as the winner, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their first name and the practice name in either an email or WhatsApp announcing the winner. Should the winner however not want their first name published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish their first name.

 

21. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

 

22. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact the winner and/or should the winner fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details on record, within 7 (seven) days from the date that the winner was notified, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.

 

23. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

 

24. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

 

25. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

26. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

27. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules, which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.

 

28. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
