- Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 (eighteen) years and over, and currently the owner/member/director/employee of a South African registered Vet Practice may enter the competition.
- An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.
- The competition will run from 08:00 on Monday, 2 September 2024 to 17:00 Monday, 30 September 2024.
- There will be 3 (three) winners in total.
- The winners will be announced by 15 October 2024.
- To be entered into the competition you need to:
a) Send your customer referrals to your dedicated dotsure.co.za representative on WhatsApp; or
b) Send your customer referrals to your dedicated dotsure.co.za representative via email; or
c) Send your customer referrals via the online form (https://www.dotsure.co.za/vet-leads).
- Each valid referral submitted will be equivalent to one entry in the competition draw. For avoidance of doubt, a valid referral means a referral in respect of which correct and complete contact information (email and cell phone number) was submitted to dotsure.co.za, the referral agreed to being contacted and the referral does not have an existing pet insurance policy with dotsure.co.za.
- Multiple entries per vet practice will be permitted however duplicate referrals will be deemed invalid.
- Entry is free of charge.
- There is no automatic prize for entering.
- Entrants will be eligible to win 1 of 3 (three) prizes:
a) First prize is a cash prize of R5000 (five thousand Rand);
b) Second prize is a cash prize of R3000 (three thousand Rand); and
c) Third prize is a cash prize of R2000 (two thousand Rand)
- For avoidance of doubt, the prizes will be allocated to the qualifying winners in accordance with a system generated random draw in the order that the qualifying winners were drawn. Accordingly, the first prize will be given to the first qualifying winner drawn, the second prize to the second qualifying winner drawn and the third prize to the third qualifying winner drawn.
- The prizes will be paid to the qualifying winners via EFT into the bank account provided by them, proof of such account and ID will be required.
- The winners will be notified by way of an e-mail as well as a WhatsApp message from a dotsure.co.za representative.
- The prize is non-transferable and there are no other alternatives.
- Fraudulent entries will not be allowed. dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.
- We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via vet@dotsure.co.za.
- By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as one of the winners, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their first name and the practice name in either an email or WhatsApp announcing the winners. Should the winner however not want their first name published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish their first name.
- No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.
- Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact one of the winners and/or should one of the winners fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details on record, within 7 (seven) days from the date that the winner was notified, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.
- dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.
- dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.
- dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
- The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
- These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules, which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.
