1. Any reference in these terms and conditions to ‘dotsure.co.za’ refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06), a licensed non-life insurer and authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

2. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 years and over, and currently the owner/member/director/employee of a South African registered Vet Practice may enter the competition.

3. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

4. The competition will run from 08:00 on Tuesday, 4 November 2025 to 17:00 Sunday, 30 November 2025.

5. To be entered into the competition, participants need to send valid referrals via the following channels:

5.1. via a referral card that is provided to your dedicated dotsure.co.za representative on WhatsApp; or

5.2. via a referral card that is provided to your dedicated dotsure.co.za representative via email; or

5.3. via the online form (https://www.dotsure.co.za/vet-leads).

6. A valid referral submitted on WhatsApp or via email will be equivalent to 1 (one) entry in the competition draw and a valid referral submitted via the online form will be equivalent to 2 (two) entries in the competition draw.

7. For avoidance of doubt, a valid referral means a referral in respect of which correct and complete contact information (email and cell phone number) was submitted to dotsure.co.za, the referral agreed to being contacted and the referral does not have an existing pet insurance policy with dotsure.co.za.

8. The winners will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

9. There will be 3 (three) winners in total.

10. The winners will be announced by 31 December 2025.

11. Multiple entries per vet practice will be permitted however duplicate referrals will be deemed invalid. For the avoidance of doubt, a duplicate referral shall be a referral which is already on the dotsure.co.za system, received from another channel or from the same participant.

12. Entry is free of charge.

13. There is no automatic prize for entering.

14. Entrants will be eligible to win 1 (one) of 3 (three) prizes:

14.1. First prize is a cash prize of R4 000 (four thousand Rand);

14.2. Second prize is a cash prize of R3 000 (three thousand Rand); and

14.3. Third prize is a cash prize of R1 500 (one thousand five hundred Rand).

15. For avoidance of doubt, the prizes will be allocated to the qualifying winners in accordance with a system generated random draw in the order that the qualifying winners were drawn. Accordingly, the first prize will be given to the first qualifying winner drawn, the second prize to the second qualifying winner drawn and the third prize to the third qualifying winner drawn.

16. The prizes will be paid to the qualifying winners via EFT into the bank account provided by them, proof of such account and ID will be required.

17. The winners will be notified by way of an e-mail as well as a WhatsApp message from a dotsure.co.za representative.

18. The prize is non-transferable and there are no other alternatives.

19. Fraudulent entries will not be allowed. dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

20. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via vet@dotsure.co.za.

21. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as one of the winners, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their first name and the practice name in either an email or WhatsApp announcing the winners. Should the winner however not want their first name published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish their first name.

22. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

23. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact one of the winners and/or should one of the winners fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details on record, within 7 (seven) days from the date that the winner was notified, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.

24. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

25. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

26. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

27. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

28. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules, which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.

29. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
