1. Any reference in these terms and conditions to “dotsure.co.za” refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06) a licensed non-life insurer and an authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

2. To be eligible for the discount, you must:

2.1  be a permanent resident in the Republic of South Africa;

2.2  be above the age of 18 (eighteen) years old;

2.3  follow the link included in the email sent to you informing you of this discount offer; and

2.4  take up the discount offer within 30 (thirty) days of the email being sent to you.

3. For the avoidance of doubt, the discount offer will only be available to new policyholders, who do not have a mechanical warranty policy with dotsure.co.za yet.

4. For the avoidance of doubt, mechanical warranty policy only refers to the dotsure.co.za MotorXtender and Roadwise Warranty policies.

5. The discount offer will be available on a once-off basis to new policyholders that satisfy the requirements listed above as well as the normal dotsure.co.za approval criteria.

6. The discount offer entitles a qualifying potential policyholder to a 50% (fifty percent) discount on their mechanical warranty premium (pro-rata premium and VAPS excluded) for the first 3 (three) months of their mechanical warranty policy.

7. Please note that all applications for insurance made in accordance with this discount offer are subject to and must comply with dotsure.co.za’s normal approval criteria and are governed by the normal terms and conditions that apply to the requested product. 8. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify these terms and conditions or to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this discount offer with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
