1. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 years and older, may enter the competition.

 

2. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

 

3. The competition will run from 09:00 on Wednesday, 20 September 2023 to 23:59 on Tuesday, 31 October 2023.

 

4. To be entered into the competition, you must successfully complete an obligation-free dotsure.co.za pet insurance quote via this link. Should you fall off the online quote journey, a dotsure.co.za call centre agent will contact you to complete the quote process.

 

5. For the avoidance of doubt only quotations originating from the above-mentioned link will be considered as valid entries.

 

6. The winner will be announced by Tuesday, 7 November 2023.

 

7. Multiple entries per person will not be permitted.

 

8. All entrants must use their own correct personal details to enter.

 

9. Entry is free of charge.

 

10. There is no automatic prize for entering.

 

11. The winner will have to provide dotsure.co.za with proof of identification as well as proof that they own a pet by means of a photo.

 

12. The winner will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

 

13. The prize shall be a R2 500 (two thousand five hundred Rand) cash prize for the qualifying winner drawn.

 

14. The winner will receive the prize money via EFT into the bank account provided by them, proof of such account and ID will be required. No alternative forms of payment will be considered.

 

15. The winner will be notified via an email or phone call from a dotsure.co.za representative.

 

16. The prize is non-transferable.

 

17. Fraudulent and duplicate entries will not be allowed. dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

19. For the avoidance of doubt, any reference in these terms and conditions to Media24 refers to Media24 (Pty) Ltd and / or any of its related or interrelated entities.

 

20. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as the winner, they allow Media24 to publish their first name on the Media24 social accounts. Should the winner however not want their first name published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which Media24 will proceed to publish their first name.

 

21. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited, Media24 (Pty) Ltd or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

 

22. dotsure.co.za and Media24 accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za and Media24 further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

 

23. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

 

24. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact the winner and/or should the winner fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details provided by them, within 7 (seven) days from the date that the winner was notified by dotsure.co.za, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.

 

25. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

26. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

27. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules which are available for inspection upon request.

 

28. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
