1. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 years and over, may enter the competition.
2. An attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.
3. The competition will run from 09:00 on Tuesday, 2 November 2021 to 23:59 on Friday, 31 December 2021.
4. To be entered in the competition, entrants will have to complete an online pet survey about their pet(s), which survey will be available on a link included in a social post on the dotsure.co.za pet Facebook page. In addition, the link will be available on the Paws24, Huisgenoot and You social pages and websites. For the avoidance of doubt: the link may also be included on other related Media24 social platforms.
5. Winners will be announced by 14 January 2022.
6. The 3 (three) winners will be notified by a dotsure.co.za representative using the contact details provided in the survey. The notification will first be sent to the e-mail address provided by them. However, if no response is received, the 3 (three) winners will be contacted telephonically by utilising the cell phone number provided by them.
7. All entrants must use their own correct personal details to enter.
8. To qualify, entrants must own a pet(s) and be able to offer proof of such ownership if requested at winner draw stage.
9. Multiple entries per person will not be permitted.
10. Entry is free.
11. There is no automatic prize for entering.
12. The prize consists of a R2 500 (two thousand five hundred rand) cash prize for each of the 3 (three) qualifying winners drawn.
13. The 3 (three) winners will receive the prize money via EFT into the bank account provided by them, proof of such account and ID will be required. No alternative forms of payment will be considered.
14. The 3 (three) winners will be selected by means of a system generated random draw, which will be conducted by an independent panel in the dotsure.co.za marketing team.

16. Prizes are not transferable.
17. Fraudulent and duplicate entries will not be allowed and dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.
18. Please take note that the data collected by means of this survey, will be de-identified and used for our market research. dotsure.co.za will only use your details for purposes of contacting you, should you be drawn as one of the 3 (three) winners or if you have given explicit consent for us to contact you about our products. All personal details collected by means of this survey will be destroyed after the 3 (three) winners have been drawn, or after we have contacted you with your consent.
19. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via email, elizabethp@dotsure.co.za.
20. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as the winners, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their first name on the dotsure.co.za social accounts and the monthly dotsure.co.za newsletter. Should the winner however not want their first name published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish their first name.
21. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.
22. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.
23. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected, or actual fraud). The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.
24. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact the winner and/or should the winner fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details provided by them, within 7 (seven) business days from the date of the winner’s announcement, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.
25. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
26. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
27. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Microsoft, Huisgenoot, You, Paws24, Media24 or any of the pet food brands listed in the survey response options.
28. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.
29. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
