1. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 years and older, may enter the competition. Proof of identity will be required should you be drawn as a winner.

 

2. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

 

3. Any reference in these terms and conditions to ‘dotsure.co.za’ refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06), a licensed non-life insurer and authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

4. The competition will run from 15:00 on Thursday, 8 February 2024 to 23:59 on Friday, 8 March 2024.

 

5. To be entered into the competition, you must:

 

a) Have an active dotsure.co.za commercial lines policy. Proof of such policy may be requested.

b) Submit your testimonial on Hellopeter via the following link: https://www.hellopeter.com/dotsurecoza with the hashtag #DotsureBusinessFans in the review subject line/body OR send it via email to your dotsure.co.za business insurance specialist with the hashtag #DotsureBusinessFans in the email subject line.

 

6. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that by submitting your testimonial, you give dotsure.co.za permission to use your review indefinitely on dotsure.co.za’s website, landing pages and advertisements. Should you wish to have your review taken down, you may request dotsure.co.za to do so and we will remove same as soon as possible.

 

7. All entrants must use their own correct personal details to enter.

 

8. The winner will be announced by 31 March 2024.

 

9. Entry is free of charge. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that this is a voluntary contribution, and you waive any real or perceived right to remuneration for the posting of your review.

 

10. There is no automatic prize for entering.

 

11. The prize shall be a branded leather laptop bag to the value of R1 500 (one thousand five hundred Rand) for the qualifying winner drawn.

 

12. The prize will be sent to the winner via courier to the address specified by the winner.

 

13. The winner will be notified via email (and/or telephone call), to the email address (and/or mobile number) associated with the Hellopeter reviewer profile or the email address from which the entry was received via email, by a dotsure.co.za representative.

 

14. The winner will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

 

15. The prize is non-transferable and there is no other alternative.

 

16. Fraudulent and duplicate entries will not be allowed and dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

 

17. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via email, nicolenevh@dotsure.co.za.

 

18. By entering the competition, entrants accept the terms and conditions and consent that, should they be drawn as the winner, dotsure.co.za may publish their name and surname in the winner announcement mailer and/or on the dotsure.co.za social accounts, and/or the monthly dotsure.co.za newsletter. Should the winner however not want their name and surname published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish same.

 

19. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

 

20. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

 

21. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify these terms and conditions or to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

 

22. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact the winner and/or should the winner fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details provided by them and/or fail to respond to the communication provided to them by dotsure.co.za via email within 3 (three) days from the date that they have been notified by dotsure.co.za, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice. For the avoidance of doubt the date of first notification shall be the date on which a dotsure.co.za representative emails and/or calls you and mention that you have been drawn as the winner.

 

23. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

24. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Hellopeter.

 

25. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

26. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.

 

27. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
