1. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 years and older, may enter the competition.

 

2. Any reference in these terms and conditions to dotsure.co.za refers to Dotsure Limited a licensed non-life insurer and an authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

3. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

 

4. The competition will run from 09:00 on Monday, 06 March 2023 to 23:59 on Friday, 31 March 2023.

 

5. To be entered into the competition, entrants must share what their pet could win an Oscar for, in the comment section of the competition post on the dotsure.co.za Pet Facebook page with the hashtag #DotsureAwardWinningPets OR on the dotsure.co.za Pet Instagram page with the hashtag #DotsureAwardWinningPets.

 

6. The winner be announced by 14 April 2023.

 

7. All entrants must use their own correct personal details to enter.

 

8. Multiple entries per person will not be permitted.

 

9. Entry is free of charge.

 

10. There is no automatic prize for entering.

 

11. The prize consists of a Soenchie online voucher to the value of R1,000 (one thousand Rand) for the qualifying winner drawn.

 

12. The prize shall be sent to the qualifying winner via email.

 

13. The winner will be notified via a comment under the competition post followed by an e-mail (to the email address provided by the winner), from a dotsure.co.za representative.

 

14. The winner will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

 

15. Prizes are non-transferable.

 

16. Fraudulent and duplicate entries will not be allowed and dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

 

17. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via email, nicolenevh@dotsure.co.za.

 

18. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as the winner, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their name and surname (if the winner is drawn from Facebook) or Instagram handle (if the winner is drawn from Instagram) on the dotsure.co.za social accounts and the monthly dotsure.co.za newsletter. Should the winner however not want their name and surname, or Instagram handle published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish their name and surname or Instagram handle, whatever the case may be.

 

19. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

 

20. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

 

21. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify these terms and conditions or to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

 

22. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact the winner and/or should the winner fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details provided by them and/or fail to respond to the communication provided to them by dotsure.co.za in the comment section of the competition post within 7 (seven) days from the date that they have been notified by dotsure.co.za, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice. For the avoidance of doubt the date of first notification shall be the date on which dotsure.co.za comments on your competition post that you have been drawn as a winner.

 

23. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

24. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

 

25. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

26. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.

 

27. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
