1. Any reference in these terms and conditions to “dotsure.co.za” refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06) a licensed non-life insurer and an authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

2. To be eligible for *R500 (five hundred Rand) off on your next premium:

 

2.1  you must be a permanent resident in the Republic of South Africa;

 

2.2  you must be above the age of 18 (eighteen) years old;

 

2.3  you must have taken up any dotsure.co.za direct business insurance policy (excluding Plant All Risk and Contractors All Risk) and have paid your first full premium (pro-rata premium excluded);

 

2.4  you must refer a friend with their consent; and

 

2.5  your referred friend must take up any dotsure.co.za direct business insurance policy (excluding Plant All Risk and Contractors All Risk) and pay their first full premium (pro-rata premium excluded).

 

*The R500 (five hundred Rand) discount will apply per friend you refer, you may refer as many friends as you want throughout the lifetime of the policy, provided you comply with the requirements set out herein. For the avoidance of doubt, the R500 (five hundred Rand) discount cannot be applied at the same time. For example, if you have 3 (three) successful referrals in 1 (one) month, that means you will qualify for the R500 (five hundred Rand) discount for the next 3 (three) months.

 

3. To be eligible for **R500 (five hundred Rand) on your premium for 2 (two) months, you must:

 

3.1  be a permanent resident in the Republic of South Africa;

3.2  be above the age of 18 (eighteen) years old;

3.3  be referred in accordance with clause 2 above; and

3.4  take up any dotsure.co.za direct business insurance policy (excluding Plant All Risk and Contractors All Risk) and pay your first full premium (pro-rata premium excluded).

 

**For the avoidance of doubt, the R500 (five hundred Rand) discount cannot be applied at the same time and no other discount can apply simultaneously. For example, if you receive another discount from dotsure.co.za, it cannot be applied with this discount.

 

4. For the avoidance of doubt, the discount offered in accordance with clauses 2 and 3 will only be available on a once-off basis to new and existing policyholders that satisfy the requirements listed above as well as the normal dotsure.co.za approval criteria.

 

5. All applications for dotsure.co.za direct business insurance policies will be subject to and must comply with dotsure.co.za’s normal approval criteria.

 

6. The chosen policy will be governed by the normal terms and conditions that apply to same and the full terms and conditions will be contained within dotsure.co.za’s policy documents.

 

7. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify these terms and conditions or to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, these discount offers with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

8. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

9. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
