1. Any reference in these terms and conditions to “dotsure.co.za” refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06), a licensed non-life insurer and an authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

2. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 (eighteen) years and over may enter the competition.

 

3. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

 

4. The competition will run from 08:00 on Monday, 02 June 2025 to 18:00 on Monday, 30 June 2025.

 

5. To be entered into the competition:

a) you must submit 2 (two) valid successful referrals;

b) you must obtain consent from the client to share their details with dotsure.co.za; and

c) the referred client must take up a comprehensive vehicle insurance policy with dotsure.co.za and must have paid their first full premium (for the avoidance of doubt, pro rata premiums do not constitute a full premium) and have their Smart-Box installed.

 

6. For the avoidance of doubt, a valid successful referral means that the client has been issued a policy number, paid their first full premium and dotsure.co.za has received proof that their Smart-Box has been installed.

 

7. Please note that for every 2 (two) valid successful referrals you will receive one entry into the competition.

 

8. There will be 3 (three) winners in total.

 

9. The 3 (three) winners will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

 

10. The winners will be announced by 31 July 2025.

 

11. The winner of the first-place prize will win Springbok tickets to the value of R10,000 (ten thousand Rand), the winner of the second-place prize will win Springbok merch to the value of R7,000 (seven thousand Rand), and the winner of the third-place prize will win a Springbok supporter hamper to the value of R3,000 (three thousand Rand). The values of the individual items the winners may choose from will be determined by dotsure.co.za with reference to the price of these items at dotsure.co.za's preferred retailer/s.

 

12. Please note that the prizes will be allocated in accordance with the order that the qualifying winners were drawn. Hence, the first prize will be given to the first qualifying winner drawn and the second prize to the second qualifying winner drawn and so forth.

 

13. Multiple entries will be permitted, however duplicate referrals will be deemed invalid. For the avoidance of doubt, a duplicate referral shall mean a referral which is already on the dotsure.co.za system.

 

14. The prizes shall be sent to the qualifying winners via courier, to an address of their choice.

 

15. The winners will be notified by way of an e-mail as well as by being notified through a WhatsApp message from a dotsure.co.za representative.

 

16. The prize is non-transferable and there are no other alternatives.

 

17. Fraudulent entries will not be allowed. dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

 

18. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via desmond@dotsure.co.za.

 

19. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as one of the winners, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their first name in either an email or WhatsApp announcing the winners. Should the winner however not want their first name published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish their first name.

 

20. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

 

21. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact one of the winners and/or should one of the winners fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details on record, within 7 (seven) days from the date that the winner was notified, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.

 

22. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

 

23. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

 

24. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

25. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

26. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules, which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.

 

27. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
