1. Any reference in these terms and conditions to “dotsure.co.za” refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06) a licensed non-life insurer and an authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

  1. All dealership staff members who permanently reside in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 years and older may refer clients to dotsure.co.za for comprehensive vehicle insurance and mechanical warranty cover.

 

  1. To be eligible for the referral fee of R2000 (two thousand Rand):

 

3.1  you must submit a successful referral*;

3.2  you must obtain consent from the client to share their details with dotsure.co.za; and

3.3  the referred client must take up a comprehensive vehicle insurance policy with dotsure.co.za, pay their first full premium and have their Smart-Box or Smart Driver Tag installed.

 

*For the avoidance of doubt, a successful referral will mean that the client has been issued a policy number, paid their first full premium (pro-rata premium and VAPS excluded) and dotsure.co.za has received proof that their Smart-Box or Smart Driver Tag has been installed.

 

  1. To be eligible for the referral fee of R1000 (one thousand Rand):

 

4.1  you must submit a successful mechanical warranty referral**;

4.2  you must obtain consent from the client to share their details with dotsure.co.za; and

4.3  the referred client must take up any mechanical warranty policy and pay their first full premium.

 

**For the avoidance of doubt, a successful mechanical warranty referral will mean that the client has been issued a policy number, paid their first full premium (pro-rata premium excluded) and the policy remains active 14 (fourteen) days after inception.

 

 

  1. Participants who reach Elite Status will have their referral fee processed within one business day. For the avoidance of doubt, Elite Status is only available to participants who maintain a rate of 60% (sixty percent) or higher for successful referrals (motor or warranty) referred by them within the previous 6 (six) calendar months.

 

  1. All applications for the comprehensive vehicle insurance and mechanical warranty policies will be subject to and must comply with dotsure.co.za’s normal approval criteria.

 

  1. The chosen policy will be governed by the normal terms and conditions that apply to same and the full terms and conditions will be contained within dotsure.co.za’s policy documents.

 

  1. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify these terms and conditions or to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, these discount offers with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

  1. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
