1. Any reference in these terms and conditions to “dotsure.co.za” refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06), a licensed non-life insurer and an authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

2. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 (eighteen) years and over may enter the competition.

 

3. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

 

4. The competition will run from 09:00 on Monday, 4 August 2025, to 23:59 on Saturday, 16 August 2025 (“competition period”).

 

5. To enter into the competition, participants will have to partake in one or more of the daily games that will consist of Wordle, Emoji puzzles, Guess where ACE is, blog guesses and crossword puzzles during the competition period.

 

6. The answers to each daily game will be posted 24 (twenty-four) hours after the game was posted. For the avoidance of doubt, once the answer for that game has been posted, participants will not be allowed to post/comment their answers.

 

7. Please note that the daily games will be posted across dotsure.co.za’s social media accounts and each game shall be on a different dotsure.co.za social media account. For the avoidance of doubt, the dotsure.co.za social media accounts that shall be used will be the dotsure.co.za Facebook accounts (Pet, Motor and Warranty) and the dotsure.co.za Instagram account.

 

8. There will be 10 (ten) winners in total.

 

9. The winners will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

 

10. The winners will be announced by 30 September 2025.

 

11. The prize shall be a Krispy Kreme voucher to the value of R154.90 (one hundred and fifty-four Rand and ninety cents) for each qualifying winner.

 

12. Multiple entries will be permitted.

 

13. Entry is free of charge.

 

14. There is no automatic prize for entering.

 

15. The prize shall be sent to the qualifying winners via email, to the email address specified by the winners.

 

16. The winners will be notified via a comment under the competition entry, followed by an e-mail (to the email address provided by the winner) from a dotsure.co.za representative.

 

17. The prizes are non-transferable and there are no other alternatives.

 

18. Fraudulent entries will not be allowed. dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

 

19. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via asandan@dotsure.co.za.

 

20. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as one of the winners, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their first name and surname or Instagram handle on the dotsure.co.za social media accounts and/or monthly dotsure.co.za newsletters. Should the winner however not want their first name and surname, or Instagram handle published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish same.

 

21. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

 

22. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact one of the winners and/or should one of the winners fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details on record, within 7 (seven) days from the date that the winner was notified, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice. For the avoidance of doubt, the date of first notification shall be the date on which dotsure.co.za comments on your competition entry that you have been drawn as the winner.

 

23. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

 

24. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

 

25. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

26. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.

 

27. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

28. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules, which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.

 

29. ALL ENTRANTS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
