1. Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 years and older, who are currently a member of the Kennel Union of Southern Africa (“KUSA”), may enter the competition.

 

  1. Any reference in these terms and conditions to dotsure.co.za refers to Dotsure Limited a licensed non-life insurer and an authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).

 

  1. An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.

 

  1. The competition will run from 08:00 on Monday, 08 May 2023 to 23:59 on Monday, 31 July 2023.

 

  1. To be entered into the competition, you must send at least one pet insurance referral to dotsure.co.za by submitting the referral via the following link: https://www.dotsure.co.za/breederprogramme.

 

  1. The winner will be announced by 07 August 2023.

 

  1. One valid referral per entrant will earn you an entry into the competition. For the avoidance of doubt: valid means correct, and complete contact information was provided, the referral agreed to being contacted and the referral does not have a current plan with dotsure.co.za for that specific pet.

 

  1. Multiple entries per person will be permitted but duplicate referrals will be deemed invalid.

 

  1. Entry is free of charge.

 

  1. There is no automatic prize for entering, however, normal referral fees will still apply as indicated on the following link: https://www.dotsure.co.za/breederprogramme.

 

  1. The prize shall be a R2,500 (two thousand five hundred Rand) cash prize for the qualifying winner drawn.

 

  1. The prize will be paid to the qualifying winner via EFT into the bank account provided by them, proof of such account and ID will be required.

 

  1. The winner will be selected by means of a system generated random draw.

 

  1. The winner will be notified by way of an e-mail as well as by being notified through a WhatsApp message from a dotsure.co.za representative.

 

  1. The prize is non-transferable and there are no other alternatives.

 

  1. Fraudulent entries will not be allowed. dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.

 

  1. We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via Nadia.sheik@dotsure.co.za.

 

  1. By accepting the terms and conditions, all participants hereby consent thereto that, should they be drawn as the winner, they allow dotsure.co.za to publish their first name in either an email or WhatsApp announcing the winner. Should the winner however not want their first name published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish their first name.

 

  1. No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.

 

  1. Should dotsure.co.za be unable to contact the winner and/or should the winner fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details on record, within 7 (seven) days from the date that the winner was notified, dotsure.co.za reserves the right to draw another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.

 

  1. dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.

 

  1. dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify these terms and conditions or to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.

 

  1. dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

  1. The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

  1. These terms and conditions constitute the competition rules, which are available for inspection on the dotsure.co.za website.
