- Rhodes Memorial Restaurant & Tea Garden
Nestled against the Northern slope of Table Mountain and tucked away behind the famous Rhodes Memorial, lies this unique destination restaurant and tea garden.
Humans can enjoy a breakfast outside in summer, and a steamy bowl of soup in front of a warm fireplace in winter. Hiking trails nearby can also be enjoyed by you and your barking buddy to help build up an appetite or digest a hearty meal. Dogs are welcome to sit down for a meal with you. Your canine companion will even be treated to biscuits from the giant doggie-biscuit jar.

Ons Huisie is an internationally recognised heritage site in Bloubergstrand which now boasts a world-class restaurant with delicious West Coast cuisine.
Their prices are reasonable, their food is delicious and there is a spectacular view of the ocean. They are known for their mussel pot because it’s served with a creamy sauce and fresh roosterkoek.
The restaurant has a large children’s playground, dogs are welcome and there’s even a special water fountain for them (perfect after a run on the beach).
